Anticipation. Anticipa...a....a...a..tion. Seriously, I can't be the only one that had that song in their head this week. Thanks Carly Simon. All week I kept thinking about all the great things I'm anticipating, like wearing my new boots. I love fall fashion. Football. Talking about Football. Wearing my team colors. Being surrounded by people wearing my team colors. Not sweating every time I walk outside. I think I love everything about the Fall. It is Definitely my favorite season, hands down.
You guys found a lot of great inspiration with anticipation. We saw weddings, the anticipation of weddings, lots of back to school and some fun sports. I really enjoyed seeing all the fun things you are looking forward to.

33/52: Falling Into Football by Eric
Week 34's theme is: FAUX
I enjoy many fake things, but for this week I narrowed it down to faux bling. I love big cheesy jewelry especially in my studio on tiny little girls. I have a special box of this stuff and my regular girls are always eyeing to see where I have it tucked away. Moving it around is half the fun.
Settings: ISO 160, 85mm, f/1.8, 1/125 sec
Here's the set up:
Nothing fancy. One softbox and wooden saddle stool.
What's new with Daphne Ellenburg?
I have been crazy busy with the Fall Rush and spent any free time with my babies. It is the last week of summer here and my kids have been milking it for all its worth. You know staying up later, sleeping in and generally being worthless.
Most evenings this week after dinner, my 3 oldest would abandon the top floor for a round of video games downstairs and Jefferson and I would watch a terrible show about french talking rabbits. He loves it. I do not get it. Rabbits living in paris, wearing clothes, going to school and studying martial arts. What?
I picked up the new glamour and have been spoon feeding it in tiny does before bed. I don't get this new grainy glam style for fashion photography. It's stupid. You're being paid like a rockstar, sharpen that shot up. It's not 1984 anymore.
This book bag purchase put me back in the running for MOM of the year. It's not even close to cold here and kids can't get enough Northface It's crazy.
And this grainy out of focus shot is how I plan to spend many evenings this week. Surrounded by my mini-mes, in my pj's watching Gravity Falls - the greatest cartoon on TV, in my opinion. Watch it.
And by the way, I'm kicking my carbs out and dropped 5 pounds this week. Get off me baby weight. He'll be a year next month, I better get on it.
Wishing you a wonderful week filled with family fun and photography! Make it magical.
