When I was preparing for the 2012 Bridal Expo this week - I had a few misconceptions.
One, It will only take me a couple of hours to do all these grommets. It was more like 2 days. Two, I'll just wear that cute black dress in the closet. Ooopsy. At 23 weeks pregnant, that cute little black dress is not as cute as it was. Rats. {Maternity dresses are not cool} Three: My Patent leather pumps will work with that closet dress....well it would have if my feet wouldn't be a whole size bigger. Not cool. Shoe people don't like the answer to be " I don't know what size I wear anymore."
Aside from those minor personal emergencies...the show was FANTASTIC! We made plenty of new friends and I got to spend the day with my wonderful Husband too. {Bonus!}
I really got to meet some fantastic brides and Mother's of the Brides. It's so much fun when brides travel in packs. I even had a couple that had the new Mother in Laws to be in on the fun.
Our booth was awesome - and went up and down without any flaws. Thanks to Mike - or Mikegyver, as I like to call him.
We featured ooodles of photos, albums, canvas, some take-a-ways and some give-a-ways - we really had a good time creating these fliers. We put our photo on them this year, that way when Brides empty that big bag of loot out, at least they will be able to remember me and Mike.
We gave away one Engagement session at the show - wow was she excited! {made me feel all warm and fuzzy!}
And we will be contacting a few more brides over the next two days who won even more prizes when they signed up at our table. Over all it was a great show and I bought some fantastic new shoes! Mmmmmm, new shoes.
