Halloween, a day of make-believe.  On Halloween, you can be who ever you want to be - at least for a few hours. As much as I enjoy dressing up as a family, it's fun for me to see my children's imagination run wild with the anticipation of Halloween Night.

I enjoy photographing them every year in their costume. This year, I have a Ghostbuster, a Jango Fete, Dorothy and a Pirate. Here's a peek of a little Ellenburg Halloween Fun.

Here's Jackson. Yes, we listened to his theme song over and over again. And Big thanks to Pandora for the Halloween Music Mix all night.

Here's Grant. Is he Jango Fete or Boba? I get confused. I called him Bango Fete quite a bit, he did not approve.

Here's Madison. Dorothy is the perfect costume for this tiny dog lover who loves all things glittered.

And here's sweet baby Jefferson - at almost 2 months old, photographed this morning. He's our tiny pirate. He said, "Being a Pirate is exhausting."

So what am I going to be? Well, let just say, tonight I'm married to the Burger King and I'll be chasing after some red sparkly shoes on my tiny broom. Happy Halloween!

Little just feels BIG when your life is in perspective. When I'm holding my newborn Ellenburg babe, I know he won't stay this little for long. I find that I make everything linger a little longer just because I know he's the last baby. {Unless Michael makes good on his dream of adopting 6 more children}.

Knowing that I'm rocking him a little longer and holding him a little tighter, I almost feel bad about nicknaming Madison, "the Watcher"....Everywhere Jefferson is, you will find Madison. Her one liner is, "I just want to see his little face."

40/52 Two of my Favorite Little people

It's hard to argue with that.

So even though Madison {more than the boys} are constantly fascinated with New Baby Jefferson's every move, keeping him more awake than asleep, resulting in keeping me more awake than asleep - I embrace the love. The love of this great big family I've always dreamed of. The love these four kids have for eachother and us. The love of a wonderful man to make this dream a reality. And the reality that Little is the new Big thing, and he'll keep growing ... whether I like it or not.
