Letter is always a fun theme for photography. As a photographer, we see things differently, I see letters all day every day everywhere. It's fun to have a reason to hunt for them and to be creative with our findings. This week our great group of photographers really went out and found and created some great shots with the Letter theme.
As always, our top ten is in no particular order. The artist's links are below each shot. If you enjoy the shot, check out the artist. Join their pages. Send them some love. There is nothing more enjoyed than the occasional pat on the back - so pat away. Here we go...
ONE {At Ellenburg Photography, we Love the letter E! And a beautiful E it is here. Love the processing and Love the boots - Nice!}

THREE {Love letters with a great story. I love a great story. Thanks for sharing it with us, Here it is for you to read too:}
"Once upon a time, a very long time ago, I was a teenager in love. My sweet boyfriend went to a different different high school than me but we worked at the same place. Since we did not see each other every day, we would leave each other notes in my mailbox. He would drive by at night and leave me cards and letters and I would rush out to get them first thing every morning. I eventually married that boyfriend and we will celebrate our 35th anniversary next month. I have kept this shoebox full of love notes in my closet all this time."
FOUR {Love the BOLD colors here - a great "V" find this week!}
FIVE {Great bright processing - I love the focus and the awesome expression on her beautiful face!}
SIX {Great idea. Who doesn't love scrabble? I know I do...and this board is so much cooler than my board. Jealous Alert!}
SEVEN {Great texture as always. I love the "O" but I can see an "M" too - a very beautiful morning indeed. Great shot with wonderful processing.}
EIGHT {"X" marks the spot - a great adventurous X find for us this week on your exciting weekend travels! Love the texture - very artsy!}

TEN {A very crafty creation for this week's theme! Great processing too - I like the texture overlay!}
Week 47's theme is "Thankful"
An easy theme for this week, as many people are enjoying a personal challenge of picking something they are thankful for each day during the month of November. I am thankful for something that's easy to overlook as our days get busier and each day runs into the next... I am thankful for my four Healthy Children.
What's New with Daphne Ellenburg?
This week, I did a little shopping with my best girl, Madison. We treated ourselves to the new OPI James Bond Nail polish. {I have a real problem with buying nail polish.} I'm wearing "Skyfall" and Madison is wearing a wonderful combination of Skyfall, Golden eye and The spy who loved me.
I'm still deciding on my annual nutcracker purchase. I'm leaning toward this guy from Pier One for my kitchen bookshelf.
Madison wanted this guy. I said no. Does he look like a reindeer in a full body cast to anyone else?
I've really been enjoying my new "Reality" TV that Michael bought me. I watch it all the time. It's completely addicting. New Mom's beware.
Baby Jefferson had a great 2 month check up this week. He's 25 inches long and up to 12 giant baby pounds. He's outgrown most of his 3 month clothes - he's my longest baby ever.
As I'm preparing for the Thanksgiving Feast, Sweet Potatoes, have been a hot button around here. I always make a sweet potato casserole - you know the one with all the marshmallows, nuts and brown sugar? Anyway, I buy yams. Michael had a full on debate with me that yams are NOT sweet potatoes and that I should call it a Yam casserole because that's what it is. I of course said, "Well just don't eat it." {Ah, the holiday debates have begun. I love our mini debates.} I sent him this photo yesterday. It made me smile.
There is a lot to be thankful for this week. Count your blessing and spread the love. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. I'm very thankful for you and our wonderful group of talented photographers.
